Ok. First off, I want you all to know that the purpose of this post is not for me to whine to the world. I really need help, and I don't know what else to do. I need advise.
The official diagnosis came. Hyperemesis gravidarum is when you have horrendous morning sickness. I'm definitely not as bad off as other women I have known, but I'm still miserable. I thought the medicine my doc gave me was working, and then just in the past two days it was like I had a permanent rock in my stomach. I can't really eat anything, I definitely can't drink water. Plus TMI WARNING!!!!!! my bowels are completely backed up. COMPLETELY. Its a combination of the heavy dose of zofran and progesterone I'm on, made worse because I can keep down so little liquid a day. The doc says the only way to go is enemas and laxatives, and then maybe I will be able to eat and drink.
I really don't know what to do. I go to work and I'm a zombie. I can't keep up with my responsibilities, but I can't lose my job.
Please!!!! If you have any advice, share it!! I don't post about my bodily functions just for fun!

Well... it sucks to say but an enema may be the best way to go... it will clean you out pretty effectively.
Love you!!!
good luck. i have no advice. :)
I'm sorry your feeling so terrible. Is it as bad as it was with Ivy.... Congratulations by the way. Athena told us a few weeks ago that you were expecting. Sooooo exciting.
