Can I express to anyone just how much I love modern science?
On Monday I went back to the Doc and he took one look at me and said "Oh, you are not feeling better, are you. Yeah, you shouldn't look like that anymore."
What a wonderful way for someone to tell you that you look exactly the way you feel. I still like him though, because he gave me the good stuff. The really good stuff. After A week of misery with icky watery goopy eyes and no energy and a sore throat that induced me to lose 6 lbs in 3 days (not complaining there) I took one little pill and put a drop in each eye, and an hour later it was all gone.
When I picked it up at the pharmacy, I blanched at the $44 I had to pay for both scripts, but now I realize I would have paid anything if I had known how well this work work.
I love drugs.
