This post serves three purposes:
1. Invite everyone to my Graduation!
2. Show off a new hobby
3. Show off my mad skills :P
The party was supposed to be a surprise, but Matthew couldn't hold it in any longer. I don't really mind because I got the idea to make this invite. I discovered (thanks Scott and Nancy!) a free photoshop-ish program on the web called gimp and I had messed with it a little, but this was my first major project. I got the background base at photobucket and just copied it a billion times for the effect. The border was tricky because I couldn't find any line tools, so I just selected the area for a different color. You would die if you knew exactly how long I spent tinkering with this thing to get the effects I wanted. But it was tons of fun. What do you think? A good hobby? I think I'll keep working on it.

How fun! Congratulations on your graduation and your newly found skills. I totally forgot to tell you about the stock photo places. sxc.hu has free stock photos, vecteezy.com has free vector images, and istockphoto.com has both but you have to pay for them. Hope that helps!
