After 5 1/2 years, I have finally finished school. I've had a few people ask me why I'm not going on to grad school and I just give them a blank stare until I realize they're serious. I truly love what I studied, but my family has had it really rough since Pooka was born. This is my time to learn things outside Academia that are more important than microbiology. Like how to keep my house clean and laundry done. How to do my geneology right. How to take my little girl places and spend time with her just becasue we have a few extra hours to kill. I get to be a Mama and a wife now and honestly, I don't think I'll ever look back.
