No Go On the House

The house we put an offer on is a definite no go. The sellers just wouldn't listen to reality and accept the fact that the market had changed so drastically that the price they wanted was out of the question. We realized yesterday that if we offered something high like they wanted, we would be out the appraisal fee - up to$500 - once it didn't appraise for what they wanted and they walked away.

Oh well. I'm actually not sad. You're supposed to be happy and excited about buying a house, and I just wasn't.

With everything else going on with us right now, I feel like we should wait a few months and then buy a house. Sure, I will be a lot further along, but I will also probably be over these horrid tummy problems (I absolutely REFUSE to call it morning sickness when it lasts forever!) and I will actually be able to help get everything ready.

What do you folk think? Am I crazy for waiting until, possibly, right before the baby comes? I have some doubts...

I'm sorry to hear about the house. That's a bummer. I'm sure you and the hubby will figure something out! Good luck!

I think it's a great idea to be feeling decent when you move. You won't be very useful with a baby in the belly anyway, but not feeling pukey is worth a LOT!

Dont stress Becca. It wasn't meant to be cause you are supposed to buy a house here in Nampa. LOL I laugh but I'm really not kidding. We had a girl move into the ward on a Saturday and have her baby that Monday so hey, it could be worse. LOL
