Freedom!!!!
So, I am finally finished with school...for the semester at least. Three blissful months, hopefully to be filled with scrap-booking, sewing, a little bit of deep cleaning, and renovation at my folks. The last two might not be on everyone's list of super fun things to do, but it sure is on mine. I LOVE projects, and now that I have a bit of extra time to do them, I am stoked! But where do I begin? I have already tackled the evil beast that was our bedroom closet and came out the victor, but what next? I must admit that I have a bit of a problem. I have so many things that I want to do, and I really do want to do them, but it seems like the only thing I want to do at night - the only opportune time to do anything when you have a 2yr old - is sit with a good novel or watch a little bit of tv. I make all of these glorious plans in the daytime, and then they just seem to sink away into "i'll only read for a few minutes," or "I haven't seen this show in 5 months!" And three hours later I realize that I should probably go to sleep. Thus, with Matthew working nights, and in the short three days that I haven't had anything to study for, I have contracted the disease of the vegetable. I don't want to lay like broccoli but it seems like a little demon inside me keeps saying that I've earned a break after all the nights of 6-hr study sessions. I suppose that after a few more days the tv thing will get old, but I know the book will always be there. I could read a good book for 14 hours straight if the real world weren't involved. But I will conquer the beast! I will be strong! Just don't give me a good book to read and break my tv, and then I will be good to go!
